We hope everyone is doing well and is staying safe. We have been reluctant to do the raffle due to parents still having raffle ticket Stubbs that were to be turned in on Opening Day. Therefore if you have Stubbs that still need to be turned in please contact Bryan at (559) 859-5899 by text. He owns his own company and it would be much easier through text. Raffle will be held Tuesday January 12th at 5pm on Facebook live. We also know some of you would like to pick up your par...ent shirts so we will also set a date for that. Parents that your children are due to receive their career trophy. We have a few options 1 request use of the fields to just hand out trophies, or pick them up from Bryan and Kayla’s house, we could decorate with balloons and if maybe someone has a backdrop we could borrow and have the other family members so a drive by for them. We pride ourselves on being the only league who gives these out, so if any one has any other suggestions please let us know. Please let us know what you would like and we will go with the majority. We sincerely apologize it has taken awhile. We had planned on doing it earlier, however the Ocegueda Family all caught Covid. We are still hoping for a 2021 season but I time will tell. EDIT: Raffle prizes can be claimed by contacting Bryan at the number provided within 5 business days. Original stub and photo ID required to claim prize.

Update on 2020 season: We have yet to receive clearance from the City to use the Park. Once we do, our plan is to have a tournament style game schedule. Please do not allow your child to wear their Jerseys and Hats. We are aware some coaches still have jerseys that were not passed out. Please contact your coach to pick those up. We will be holding the raffle soon, date and time of the live drawing will be posted. We have been hesitant to do it, because people still have raffl...e tickets they have not been turned in. If you have raffle tickets please let us know so we make sure everyone gets a fair chance to win. As for the Trophy’s for the 12 year olds. Omega Trophy still has them. Please do not go pick up your child’s Trophy. Lions takes great pride in being the only league which gives these out. For the ones who haven’t picked them, we plan on still holding a special day to pass them out, along with games. If by any chance we do not play before next season there will be a discount for players who resign up. Please have patience with us. Almost our entire Board has experienced a devestating loss these past few months. We are all volunteers, and have lives outside of Lions and are doing the best we can. Parent shirts that have not been picked up please send us a message, we will get those who ask for their orders back out of storage this week. Thank You I’m advance for your understanding. See more

Attention Warriors:

It is with a heavy heart we share the passing of one or our beloved Coaches. Jesus Salinas Chuey lost his battle with ALS on Tuesday July 28th. Chuey coached his 3 sons out at Lions and helped in many other ways throughout the years. His wife Sara is still a fixture of the league. Chuey leaves behind his beloved wife Sara, Children Joel, Kallah, Johnny, Jordan, and Savannah, Grandchildren Nathaniel, and Julian. Chuey not only served our Country with the Marines, he served his community, he was with Fresno PD for over 20 years until he was medically retired this past January. Chuey fought a good fight and we will all deeply miss him.

Lions family the Pierce could really use our prayers. Corey Pierce has served his country for 12 years, he has been deployed twice with the Army National Guard. Once to Afghanistan, and another to Kuwait. He missed Barbara’s entire pregnancy with Kayla including the delivery due to being deployed. He has now been called into active duty again to help with the Civil unrest. Barbara has been to every black lives matter protest, protesting peacefully for change, all while worry...ing about her husband safety. Her mom Shirley is also hospitalized due to low blood pressure and other health issues. Barbara and Corey have coached at Lions for the last few years. Barbara actually coaching alone when Corey was deployed. They need us to lift their family up in prayer for Corey to return home safely and her mom to heal. They have always been the type of family who go over and beyond to help anyone. So I’m asking when you go to bed tonight to say a little prayer for them. See more
