The Foster Project

We are so excited to share with you that we are making Sacramento our home base. We have recently closed in on our new office space in the up and coming neighborhood of Oak Park. As we are growing as an organization we are excited about this move and calling Sacramento, the capital city of California. We are also to be apart of the Capsity family. With this space we will be able to help a lot of foster youth and foster community. Stay tuned for the second half of the announcement.

Update on Covid19 and The Foster Project

Sorry to inform everyone due to curtain circumstances the event happening Oct 12th in San Francisco has been postponed until spring of 2020. We know that were were many people planning to attend and many bought tickets. By Wednesday next week we will have a new date set. For those who have already bought tickets your current tickets will be honored at the door once we set the new date.

The Change A Life Music Show is just a few weeks away on October 12th and we are super excited We have been working with the venue management to be able to livestream the event. We just found out that we will be able to livestream it on our Facebook. We will go live on our Facebook page at 7:25pm pst and the event will start at 7:30pm pst. The event and livestream will end around 9:15pm pst. Today we are in Sacramento, California's state capital talking with representative from the California Department of Housing and Community Development to talk to them about affordable housing for young people aging out of foster care in California. The Department oversees affordable housing and funding for afdordable housing for the state of California. We are looking forward to this meeting and hoping for a good discussion and outcomes.
