From the Broward Sheriff's Office: An Oakland Park resident suffering from dementia left her home two nights ago and was soon lost. She eventually felt cold and... tired and fell asleep in a van, which is where #BSO Deputy Joy and #K9 Amber found her. Our bloodhounds like Amber use their acute sense of smell to seek out and protect missing or lost residents. "The internal gratification you get from finding a missing person is indescribable," says Deputy Joy.
