Fast Weenies

Last Friday morning, Fast Weenies was presented with a check for $5,000. by the Tribal Council of Win River. This filled us with a great and comforting measure of pride in our community. The Tribal Council awarded 20 local businesses in the Greater Redding Area with similar $5,000. checks for a grand total of $100,000. Wow! The Tribal Council of Win River recognizes that our local business community is jus...t essential as those with far flung corporate offices. They recognize that many businesses are suffering and they are demonstrating the solidarity needed for us to support each other as best we can. As with Win River, we are LOCAL, and the dollars we make turn over and over again within the community providing employment and a desired product or service. Win River provides not only venues for entertainment but a host of other valuable services for the well being of our community that are available to everyone. And the dollars stay here! Thank you Win River. We are grateful for your award and for your concern and efforts to make our area a caring, thriving environment for all.

Starting Monday, Oct. 5th, we will be open until 6:00 pm to accommodate those who need a good meal for a fair price. These new hours, 9:00-6:00 Monday thru Friday will remain in effect until further notice.

August is our 38th year in business. We truly appreciate all of our customers support both past and present. Thank-you. Thursday afternoon and our day is done. And yes, the thermometer reads 118 degrees. That’s my station in the parking lot car hopping. No complaints from me though. I am only there a short time on occasion. It is Nancy, John and Nai who are the wheels that are making things go right now. The others are still taking care of their homes and families for the time being and until we sort things out with this opening up issue. Safety for all is still our top priority. The bes...t news however, has been you, our customers. I cannot tell you how happy it makes me to see the smiling faces and hear the positive comments from everyone I have spoken with. Things can get tough in this business, times where we wonder, is it really worth it? But, such welcoming and positive feedback from our customers is simply the most gratifying response possible. To know that we have become a regular part of our customers routine in life is the best part of all. Our customers are simply the best. So, thank-you from all of us at Fast Weenies.
