With The Dragonfly having moved into a primarily online format as we work to stop the spread of the virus we invite you to join us as we advance into new territory. Creating art provides a distraction, giving your brain a break from your usual thoughts Why not create together? Members at the studio are welcome to pick up canvas and paint curbside and all online classes a...re FREE to them as part of the membership package. Classes scheduled now include: Character Drawing Sewing Life Drawing Mythological Creatures Acrylic Painting Watercolor Techniques and Painting We are also looking at adding classes in technology for artists using the iPad as a tool. Because of the slow drying nature of oil paints they can be fantastic for creating subtle blends. Working wet-into-wet is the sure-fire way to get a smooth transition in your painting. This is especially true for portrait painting when the subtle shading of the face can need constant revisiting and tweaking.
