The holidays are here and even though there are many unknowns at this time, Recreation and Golf Services has an amazing lineup of programs and events that will allow everyone to stay safe. As of today, there have not been any changes to our Aquatics, Boathouse, Tennis or Golf center hours. Safety protocols are in place and any adjustments will be announced on social media and our web pages. We hope our upcoming programs and events will add some joy to your day!

December is here and the City of Coronado Recreation & Golf Services is delighted to offer 2020 Holiday Events that will spread joy and cheer! Home in Coronado for the Holidays is our first ever Drive-Thru held at City Hall. We are transporting drivers and passengers alike to the North Pole on December 12. Registration for all begins Dec 1-11 so reserve your spot by calling (619)522-7342. Coronado Holiday Contests - Deck your door, deck your tree or show off your house dé...cor by sending one photo per contest to us at [email protected] and include your name, photo title, address, and phone number. Letters to Santa is a City tradition! Bring your child's completed letter addressed to "Santa Claus, North Pole Express Mail" and include a self-addressed stamped envelope. Santa will be sure to write back! New this year is the "North Pole Hotline." We've worked out a schedule with Santa and he wants to call your child! Dec. 1-11 we will set your child or children up with a scheduled time to talk with Santa when you call in to register. These events are free and registration begins tomorrow. There is no place like "Home in Coronado for the Holidays" and Santa's elves have been planning a festive drive-thru for the whole family! There will be goodie bags, elves, a photo op and Santa. Starting tomorrow, Nov. 19, resident registration begins for this exciting event. Due to the County of San Diego moving to Purple Tier, the Coronado Fitness Center will be closed effective Monday, November 16 until further notice.
