We saw trending ingredients like matcha in sauces, Mediterranean flavors dominating, and the revival of artisan bread in the health space. A5 waygu nigiri with quail egg + Red snapper nigiri with plum paste // @kaiyosf is one of the few spots in the city where you can get Japanese-Peruvian cuisine called Nikkeithe style of dining born of the Japanese diaspora in Peru. Kaiyo tells this story through its exploration of regional ingredients, unique flavor profiles, and craft cocktails made from traditional Peruvian piscos and Japanese whiskeys.

Los Feliz’s newest neighborhood addition is @atriumlosfeliz an airy indoor-outdoor space boasting soaring beams, exposed brick, and rustic metal finishings. The menu focuses on modern American cuisine while channelling the city’s global flavors and traditions.
