Thanks to our incredible Simi Valley Mobile Clinic staff and veterinarian, 246 cats were altered February 10-13, preventing hundreds of unwanted litters. With enough donations we hope to sponsor another clinic this Fall. Since January 2019 close to 1000 cats have been fixed. Such a need in Kern County!!

Sharing for Isabel in hopes she can find this homeless gal a home. These passed two weeks there has been an adult orphaned pregnant cat roaming around the block I’ve been feeding her outside we can’t keep her due to family members at home being allergic was wondering if we can help her find a home or get her off the streets before she has kittens roaming around the neighborhood in this summer heat? Please and thank you in advance I appreciate the efforts everyone makes it tak...es heart and love into helping animals in need. If not I totally understand if there’s any information I need to know let me know if possible and please help to share this cat’s situation for her if possible and again thank you!!! Bakersfield City Cat Trappers: Funds for community/feral cats brought in by Bakersfield City residents have been exhausted. Feral/community cats brought to Crit...ters by city residents will be charged $60 per cat. We do not know when they will have additional funding. The county TNR program, for residents in unincorporated Kern County, will continue with no changes. Trappers will need to bring in proof of residency when bringing trapped cats for services.
