Hello Cat Doctor friends! My family and I are very excited to officially announce our newest addition: Rosalind Page Cody! Born Monday, October 12th at 10:36 am.... 8 lbs 11 oz 20.75 inches long Mom and baby are doing very well, and Rosalind's older brothers love their baby sister. I will be spending time at home with them while Dr. Sheree Stern fills in for me. I look forward to seeing you all when I come back to work next Thursday the 29th. Thank you all for your love and support! -Dr. Bryan Cody

A few cats are believed to have caught COVID-19 from humans, but there is no evidence of people getting the disease from cats. If you believe you have COVID-19 experts recommend having someone else take care of your cat until you recover. If you don't have anyone available, please call us - we can offer discounted boarding for your cat while you are sick. https://www.cnn.com//tiger-cat-coronavirus-well/index.html

Hi Cat Doctor friends and family, Many of you will have heard in the news that the governor has ordered a shutdown of non-essential businesses throughout California due to the coronavirus pandemic. Veterinary hospitals are considered essential and we are doing our best to continue to provide necessary care for your cats while also doing our part to prevent the spread of this virus.... In order to do so we are implementing the following temporary measures: -We will be transitioning to "curbside" service. When you arrive please call us at (805) 495-1678 and a team member will discuss you and your cat's needs over the phone, then come to your car to bring your cat into the hospital (or bring food or medication refills to your car). -Once your cat is in the hospital Dr. Cody will complete his examination and call you with a treatment plan. Our team will discuss the details of any recommended treatments including costs and ask for your authorization over the phone. Once you authorize the treatment we will complete it and bring your cat and any medications or supplies needed back to your car. -Our team members will be wearing facemasks and gloves while you interact with them. Please do not be alarmed as none of us are sick and all of our staff are under strict orders to stay home if they are not feeling well or might have been exposed to the coronavirus. -Please note that we will not be able to see any cats who are not securely in carriers or on harnesses. If you do not have a carrier we can bring one to your car, but we will need you to get your cat into the carrier so that we can follow the social distancing guidelines recommended by the CDC. We realize that this may not feel like the friendly face-to-face service you're used to from The Cat Doctor. Rest assured that we are doing everything we can to protect your health and safety as well as provide expert, loving care for your cat. We will get through this! Thank you and stay safe, Your friends at The Cat Doctor

Sanitary Clip ~ A great way to stay sanitary while using the litter box. We trim just the right places. This one comes with an extra trim up the tummy to keep matting to a minimum for a purr-fect appearance.
