E V E N T S : what I miss and what I don’t miss... I don’t miss day of, at all. The stress, the timeline that goes out the window to cater to others misjudgment , the last minute corsage on site for a distant aunt whose pissed (don’t bother, she’s going to look at it like it’s the ugliest thing she’s ever seen anyway), packing the van, delicate expensive flowers getting smushed, sunburns, always being hungry with no time to eat, and being asked 100 times for leftover flowers ...to be placed in 10 different areas all around the venue (you know, just a little something in the bathroom ). What I do miss is my clients face when they see the flowers, when a bride cries over her bouquet, designing my ass off in a 68 degree (or colder!) room blasting 2000’s pop or trap rap, @dianetranweinberg and I carpooling, organizing the cooler the night before, and seeing it all come together so beautifully that even I’m amazed. I’m sure there’s more... much much more. But the energy I have to pump into social media these days is at about a -5... anyone else?
