Congratulations to Riz Ahmed @rizahmed for his Best Actor Award for "Sound of Metal" at the 30th annual Gotham Independent Film Awards! Just the first of many awards we predict Riz will win this season! Gregory Berger-Sobeck is Riz's regular coach and worked closely with Riz throughout the filming of "Sound of Metal". He and Riz also worked together on the upcoming "Mogul Mowgli" (January release) and "Invasion" which also stars Octavia Spencer.

Their advantage is that those actors are trained in a deep artistic tradition and are able to bring that training right into the technical aspects of working in front of the camera.
