Severely obese women who opt for weight-loss surgery may be cutting their risk of breast cancer along with their extra pounds, a large U.S. study suggests. Rese...archers compared two groups of women with morbid obesity: nearly 18,000 who underwent various forms of so-called bariatric surgery and nearly 54,000 who did not. The groups were similar in terms of age, medical conditions and body mass index (BMI, a ratio of weight to height). https://reut.rs/2VC9VkT See more

Are you struggling to get back on track with your eating while at home? Although these tips are perfect for staying on track right now, they will be useful to...ols for staying on track in the long-term! Let's get started! GETTING BACK ON TRACK WITH YOUR DIET ROUTINE: Tip 1! Try not to skip meals! You might be thinking: "skip meals!? But I've been eating more than ever!" Let us explain! When we're at work or out for the day, we take snacks, have designated lunch times, plan out our day.... But right now most planning is hitting the backburner (I know it has in my house!) Also, this isn't a tip for those who, for example, have never eaten breakfast as part of their routine. It's okay if this works well for you! This is more about those times where we get so bogged down in our work that time passes beyond when we would normally eat. When we ignore or forget to check in with our hunger levels, we can often have a very large increase in hunger. Because we are SO hungry, the first thing we grab is usually out of convenience (chips, biscuits etc.) which only gives us a SMALL BURST of energy rather than LONG LASTING energy. But there's a simple solution! - Schedule lunch breaks, with an alarm if you need to! - Prepare for snacks & meals even though you might not be leaving the house - Pack them into a lunchbox - this helps to visually see what you are going to have for the day and also helps to prevent getting to lunch and not knowing what to have! What are some of your tips?

Something to remember... Small steps are still progress. We don't need to make big leaps to be going in the right direction. If we're off track, recognising ...that is STILL a form of progress. On this journey you need to celebrate the smallest of wins - let them motivate you to keep going and keep learning! See more
