Words are not enough to describe my excitement today! Carol Kostakos Petranek and I have worked immensely during the past few years to make this happen, and now...... boom! MyHeritage has just published its Greek collections: the Vlachogiannis voter lists, the Corfu civil records and the marriage records of the Metropolis of Sparta! As you may have already guessed, this Saturday's Greek Ancestry webinar (noon PST, 1pm MST, 2pm CST, 3pm EST) will be dedicated to these records, with a special focus on the Corfu and the Spartan collections, as voter lists have already been covered in Webinar #1. So, prepare your questions for Saturday!

.. An Ancient wax tablet showing a child’s Greek School Work will be presented at the British Library... (Where else would they present Greek History)... T...his wax tablet displayed in the image below is showing a child's Greek school work 1800 years ago... This ancient tablet, contains great examples of graphic design, spelling exercises, and watch programs, has been in storage for 40 years......... Why??????? The ancient tablet shows two lines written in Greek, carved on the candle, with a "stylus" by a child believed to be possibly a eight or nine years old..... It is essentially a work of a primary school child in the 2nd century AD. This Ancient tablet is about the size of an iPad mini. "What strikes us is that we can see the effort of a child in Greek 1,800 years... bravo I have to ask myself, what else are they hiding ?????
Happy 2020! I wish you a new year filled with prosperity, joy, and contentment. Thank you for your wholehearted support!
