It’s our 5th times donating freshly cooked meals to the frontline healthcare workers. Yesterday, we had a chance to deliver over 60 lunches to the VA hospital in La Jolla. We feel the urge to give back to our community, especially in time of need like this. Cooking is our little way to say thank you for their hard work battling COVID and taking care of patients. Their dedications deserve our deepest gratitude. Thank you our local healthcare heroes. * A little feels good s...tory to tell, as I was unloading the food, an elderly veteran in his wheelchair rolled in asking what’s this all about? As I replied that I’m bringing in the food donations for nurses and doctors, he reached in his pocket and asked if he could donate some money to help. I’d told him that it’s all covered for and thank you for his service and generosity, as he’s leaving, he looked me into the eyes and says god blessed your heart.
