With the start of a new year, we can’t help but be excited for a fresh beginning! I don’t know about you, but are you the type of person who has traditions? You know...like taking annual family photos which help you look on memories before the kids sprout up and time passes by?... Look seriously, time goes by so quickly! It was almost just last year when we got married and that seemed like yesterday! All we can say is make sure you build memories. Make sure you CAPTURE memories as it will go quickly in a heart beat. Let's be honest...life can get crazy. So, what is it that brings joy amongst the craziness? Honestly what is it that slows us down for just a moment and helps us appreciate the most treasured things in life. We know for us; it's wrapped in the arms around the ones you love. There's something about having that touch, that connection that just communicates "Don't worry, about a thing, every little thing, will be alright".... It's just that sweet little moment together that lets us know everything is going to be ok. That we are loved.

Happy New Years Eve! We honestly love you and we hope all of you are doing well. If you have been following us for a while; you know the ending of 2019 and starting of 2020 just wasn’t what we had pictured. We aren’t going to beat the dead horse and talk about the elephant in the room with all that’s going on either! If you are reading this; what we want to do is encourage you. Yes encourage you!... What we want to leave you with in the last few hours of 2020 is this. Never stop dreaming. Again. Go into 2021 and NEVER STOP DREAMING. Dream about your passions, your goals, what excites you or fulfills you!! Go into this new year with the mentality that if you build it, they will come. Because I can honestly promise you that if you don’t give up on those dreams...if you keep stepping one foot in front of the other...If you put aside those labels and stop saying but I’m only this, I’m only this; that I promise you will achieve your dreams! Trust us. All the bad that we had faced BEFORE COVID just honestly sucked. But we kept walking with one foot in front of the other and before we knew it. We had achieved our dreams. If we can. We know you can. You have a team behind you and more importantly you have Him walking with you. Be Encouraged! We love you all!

Thank you to all those who have served this great country! Who have given their lives so that we can enjoy freedoms that we often take for granted. We thank you!

Who else is ready to slip off their open toe beauties and slip into their warm and cozies?! Yesterday I woke up to Tee layering up with a beanie and heavy wool socks. The temperature is finally beginning to drop! Which is ok with me as we help our 2021 & 2022 brides plan ahead! Bring on the hot chocolate and don't forget the whip!

Earlier this month we had the pleasure in working with @Tommy_beal_deal to get him new headshots and fresh images in his element. Random fun fact this image was taken with an old cinema lens, Tee could tell you all about his awesome discovery! We are so excited to see Tommy's business grow and future sessions!

The memories we make with our family is everything. Candace Cameron Bure. Isn’t that the truth!?! One of the biggest questions we’ve asked ourselves is for future holiday seasons, what will be the story we tell our children and grandchildren of how we spent our time?... Will we say that we sat around all day, watch Netflix, and really wasted our time? Will we say that we gave into fear; we were absolutely terrified by watching the news each night and lived our lives with our emotions on our sleeves? Or will we say that in this time, we created memories and lived life to the fullest that we could. Would we tell them that we were intentional with our time and we didn’t waste a moment with each other? In 5 or 10 years from now, will we reminince over the family photos from the past. Will we share with the next generation remembering the stories when so and so did this or remember that, prompted by the annual family photo. Passing down the memories and the love shared for years to come. See more

Friends, Family & those we have yet to meet, As many of you know, the River Fire right outside of Salinas took several homes. While we were fortunate enough to come back to our home after being evacuated, that wasn't possible for everyone. Our hearts hurt for the families who are also trying to make it through 2020 and now have an even bigger hurdle.... Tee & I could not sit back and do nothing and so we teamed up with neighbors to help us build an album in which we can help raise funds to go to these families who have lost so much! They held an intimate sunset ceremony so that they could start the next chapter of their lives as Mr. & Mrs! Congratulations you two! We are so excited to get your gallery to you soon!

Who else loves fall? The days are starting to below cooler and the trees are changing colors! So excited to bring out the warm blankets and sit around the evening fire with a cup of hot coco!

I am not going to lie to you, this week has been tough. For the first time in who knows how long, Rebecca and I finally went away last weekend and got out of state; which is honestly the completely polar opposite from our whirlwind travel year of last year! Now, not all was vacation since we had some sessions in the books around in Northern California but it sure felt good to finally get out and about. The day after our trip though, our family dog just wasn’t doing well after... a gradual decline and finally had to make the decision to put her down. Grief is really interesting. We know all too well how this feels when we found out we were pregnant last year but then the horrible news we received a few days before Christmas. In one moment, there would be acceptance and hope and later then it will turn into pain and denial. Just today I had put accidentally put too much ice in my cup to then give a few cubes to the dog (a treat she loved) But that just never happened. Jesus says in Matthew 5 Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted. Grief is hard, but we know that we aren’t walking alone.

Life moves so fast! One day you are saying "I Do". To have and to hold through the best of times and the most trying of times. Then, in what seems to be a blink of an eye, you are celebrating your 50th anniversary! Wow, 50 years together! Stories are being shared with friends and family as you reminisce about that one time, you remember when...... Memories such as this, are some of our favorites captured and preserved for each other, their children and their children's children to know and remember the love that is shared!

You know what we absolutely love? Bouquets blooms, high heels, silky ribbons and sparkling rings.... What is there not to love about bridal details! Its our favorite way to start off your wedding day while you finish up your hair & makeup!

Several anniversaries & a family later, or maybe you just got engaged, you are still celebrating your enduring love. While life can be crazy, Tee and I believe you deserve amazing photography. We want to see you filled with joy and completely in love for years to come because we are all about marriages that last the test of time.

How beautiful are these two?! Brandon & Alex have been through a lot together - especially while wedding planning. While the large celebration in New Jersey with all their loved ones will have to wait until next year, these two refused to put their commitment to each other on hold. They held an intimate ceremony with exchanging vows and sealing their promises with a kiss in Saratoga’s Hakone Gardens. Together, they can conquer anything! Congratulations you two!
