Hi all, in May (date TBD) I am putting together a panel of TECA alumni to talk about their path through college and towards a career as a teacher (even if you have been knocked off the path). It would be part of a larger presentation in which we are bringing in a keynote speaker on teaching and will have other current TECA speakers as well. Please comment if you are interested! Why are we doing this? Policy makers/colleges (who will be invited) need to know what it is "real...ly like" to be out there working towards being a teacher and the struggles and successes you are facing along the way! Ultimately, through your voices and stories, I hope to bring more resources and financial support to our future teachers, including yourselves!
