I like to share with you an experience I had with one of my junior students today. Today was the first day back after the quarantine and the attendance was not what I was hoping for and this made me feel a bit edgy to say the least. Matilda is one of my junior students that as far as I remember, has always had a big warm smile on her when she comes to the studio. She always comes in and says hello and says goodbye. Well, today I saw Matilda after almost 3 months and she was j...ust all full of energy. She jumped into my arms and gave me a biggest hug saying how much she had missed me. She asked me how the classes were and I told her that it was a little slow. I could tell that she felt my energy. After she heard what I said, she gave me a big hug, again, and said: I bet it was better than last week. Hearing those words from this young child completely changed my perspective as I remembered clearly being alone at the studio last week. I held her in my arms and thanked her for the lesson.
