We're excited to reopen Oceano Dunes SVRA and Pismo SB for vehicular use. When you return, there will be some new things you may not have experienced before. We... thank you in advance for your cooperation. 1) Vehicles will need to proceed with caution as the dunes have changed creating unfamiliar terrain. 2) The sand is extremely soft. We recommend using a four-wheel drive street legal vehicle while recreating in the dunes. 3) Go slow, obey the 15mph speed limit, get to know the terrain, take your time and scout your route. Other important reminders for Phase 1 of our three-phased reopening plan: 1) No OHVs are permitted in the park units. 2) Plan ahead by visiting our website before leaving home to learn about new COVID-19 guidelines. 3) Respect wildlife and "Be Aware of Wildlife" signs.
