Shana Tova everyone! Check out this piece by Religion News Service in which TBI was featured alongside Mishkan in Chicago and Dorshei Derekh in Philaldelphia. The article talks about our creative programming and rituals. We look forward to seeing you on Yom Kippur, starting this Sunday Night at 5:45 with Kol Nidrei. https://religionnews.com//shofar-popups-and-drive-in-sing/

Have you voted yet? Pirkei Avot (Ethics of our Fathers) teaches us: it is not your duty to finish the work but neither are you at liberty to neglect it. #vote #presidentialelection #democracy #jewishvoters #suffragette #2020election

Tonight at 7:30 - Volunteer Appreciation Party in the Booth If you volunteered for High Holidays, or would like to show your appreciation for our committee, grab a drink and food for this relaxed Zoom social hour. We will share stories and honor our volunteers. We will also continue our custom of each person having a chance to symbolically invite personal Ushpizin (relatives, friends, or personal heroes) into our shared virtual Sukkah. Check your email for the zoom link.

Join us for online services tonight live from the Sukkah! We are also having a Sukkah Hop on Sunday at 10:30 am. If you were able to make a sukkah this year (whatever the form: physical, virtual, in a shoe box...) send us a pic in the comment section of this post! We'll share them on TBI's social media!

Hurray! Our locally sourced Kosher etrogim have arrived, just in time for Sukkot. The Rabbi also harvested some local myrtle, palm fronds and willow branches today to complete our lulav bouquet! We have three sets available (on loan). Email the rabbi for more info at [email protected] #lulav #sukkotinlalaland #sukkot #sustainablesukkot #fourspecies #sukkah
