Jesus promised not to turn those away who are looking for Him. In Matthew 7:7-8, He said Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock an...d the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened What an amazing promise to those who want to come, see and know Jesus. JOIN US FOR CHURCH TODAY Psalm 51:10, NIV....Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. In this psalm David's heart was crying out to God to wash his heart clean of sin, because he recognized his sins and was convicted. David's heart had been full of lust for Bathsheba, murderous plans for Uriah, (Bathsheba's husband), and rebellion against God. He desired a new heart, one that was full of love for God and hatred of evil. Sin in his heart had br...ought him nothing but guilt, grief, and remorse. He wanted spiritual heart surgery that only God could perform. Jesus points out that the heart as the source of either good or evil. In Luke 6:45, NIV....He explained: "A good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and an evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart. For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of". In Matthew 5:28, NIV....Jesus also said "But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart". David, therefore, had committed adultery with Bathsheba in his heart before the physical act of adultery took place. He needed a new heart. But he also asked the Lord to renew a right spirit within him. He wanted the kind of spirit that would obey the Lord at all times. We like David, can confess and repent of our sins to God, He is faithful and just to forgive us of our sins, purify our hearts, renew a steadfast spirit within us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. May we choose to obey God and repent (kill) our sins, that we may be conformed into the likeness of Christ., that lives in us. Join us as we thank, praise and celebrate God’s Almighty power and ability to transform our lives through the Holy Spirit!! This past Sunday, October 11, TBCC acknowledged Pastor and Wife Appreciation Day. Pastor Hugo and Kim both of you have been a blessing to us in many ways. Pastor Hugo, thank you for preaching God’s Word to us. For being there for us in our times of great joy and trials and sorrows. You have stood at the alter and married us....you were there when we gave our life to Jesus....You have dedicated our children to the Lord....grieved with us when we have lost our loved ones. ... We will never forget that you were there for us. For all of your sacrifices visible and invisible....thank you! God see’s them all. For modeling Godly living and mentoring us, our lives are changed because of this. For bearing up under criticism and attack; for responding under grace, humility and forgiveness time after time....thank you! You are a true example of Christ. For prioritizing and nurturing your relationship with Jesus above any other relationship....Thank you! It shouldn’t be any other way. For being a example of servanthood....you compel others to serve God with you. Kim, for consistently supporting your husband emotionally and physically in his ministry. Your love for Pastor is a great treasure! For all you do for us and the Church.... it makes a big difference. For being a a real, authentic, genuine Sister and friend to all of us, and wonderful mentor to the ladies. Pastor Hugo and Kim we love and appreciate both of you very much!

The TBCC family would like to wish Elder Paul and Rita, Happy 21st Wedding Anniversary! Surely the Lord has walked with you both through the many years you have been together. May your marriage continue to be guided by the truth of God’s Word, the Light of Jesus and counsel of the Holy Spirit. Have a beautiful day celebrating your love for each other.
