So that’s a wrap! We had our last day to the public for a while. It was a busy day with my team ( Manny and Jorge) who’ve been working here for 6 and 12 years!). In this time of Covid our team have been so loyal and helpful. Shout out to Alberto who helped me get Tart back running while he was working 2 other jobs somewhere else! I get embarrassed asking our guests if I can take their photos for our insta but I felt like we should celebrate our last day with the guests that... stayed until the end. This weekend was a scorcher but we had guests that took it in stride. This lovely group had such a snazzy fashion sense that I almost forgot it was Covid. To be or not to be Hello Tart community. It is the 4th of July holiday weekend on Saturday and Sunday. We are taking your feedback to figure out if there will be a demand for us to be open this weekend. Every day the Covid situation changes and for now, I know beaches have been closed along with many other businesses that recently re-opened. For restaurants like us, we are allowed to remain open for to-go orders and delivery only. If we get enough pre-orders, we will op...en this (Saturday) 4th of July. After being open to the public we are grateful for everyone that has come out to support us. Unfortunately, we have made the decision to do ONLY pick up and delivery for our non-hotel guests. We have found that trying to follow all the new guidelines on mask-wearing and group size is not something the public wants to do. We felt our courtyard space is putting everyone at risk during these unforeseen times. We look forward to when the pandemic is over.

A lot of spirit of Tart was about brunching well.
