Save time and maximize the efficiency of your workouts by incorporating a complex! When talking to clients, friends, and family about their fitness goals. I notice that the biggest obstacle standing in the way of success is time and scheduling. Many of my clients have trouble getting through an hour-long workout, and to make matters worse they feel discouraged when they can't get through all their prescribed exercises. Many times the solution to this problem is the inclusi...on of complexes in their workouts. Complex: A complex is a sequence of exercises performed back-to-back using a single piece of equipment, in a single area, with no rest between exercises, no changing weights, and no letting go of the equipment. The complex is very advantageous for those who don't have an hour to train but are motivated to improve their fitness and health. The post above shows some examples of my favorite complexes. The one thing I love about complexes is that there are no rules! It's kinda like jazz, where you can improvise and combine things together on the fly. Do you have any questions about complexes? Middle Eastern Power Bowl This middle eastern power bowl is one of my favorite healthy dishes! I'll make this for lunch and or dinner, and it is really easy to meal prep for this. All you have to do is triple the recipe. The best part of this dish, in my opinion, is the amount of protein it contains compared to its caloric content. When it's all said and done, this plate contains 57 g of protein. You can also sub out the chicken for tofu to make it vegetarian. The possibilities are endless.
