Although #Halloween may look a little different this year, we’re finding fun and creative ways to celebrate and make the day special for our patients! This year our child life team hosted reverse trick-or-treating where our team members went room to room with Halloween gifts from departments all across our campus, and we even had a fun float parade that traveled through the #pediatric hospital halls. Check out the colorful and creative floats designed by our very own nurses and respiratory therapists!
We’re kicking off the Halloween celebrations early this year! This past weekend Tiny Feet Foundation hand delivered bags of special goodies and treats to our #NICU patients. Thank you for bringing the Halloween spirit to our littlest patients and their families!
Our favorite elf, Tinsel, is back again this year to spread holiday cheer around Sutter Medical Center's Children's Center. His first stop: our #NICU. Tinsel checked in on the little ones, and with the Angel Eye Camera, an innovative bedside camera technology, families can also check up on their babies when they can't be at the hospital. During the pandemic, the cameras have been such a gift to families to be able to see their little ones. #TinselAtSutter
It’s #PediatricNursesWeek and we want to thank our incredible nurses who do so much for our little patients and their families! We are so grateful for this extraordinary group of people who provide care and compassion to our young patients at their most vulnerable.
Happy #Thanksgiving from our family to yours! Wishing everyone a safe and happy holiday from all the babies in our level 4 #NICU.
