How do you maneuver this experience when you’re so used to chasing or pursuing money or a label or a person? Can you imagine how more fulfilling perhaps your life would be if you were living in the moment instead of trying to obtain something? We are taught to chase but we don’t have to. I’m speaking here in regards to the thoughts of this will help me be complete or valuable, the if only’s and then. Always looking to obtain but never standing still to perhaps see you a...lready have it all. We are trained well in fear. Taught to follow a system that is limiting and keeps us small. Imbedded with this that most walk around with blinders on not even realizing there is more or that seeking in fulfillment outside of ourselves gives away our own personal power. So how do we do it, how do we learn to experience life in a different way? I believe it’s about taking one moment at a time which can be difficult when we are so busy pursuing, doing, achieving. As I started my path inward I couldn’t seem to get enough of trying to understand. Understand me, why I’m here, what’s this all about. Sure in the beginning it was trying to understand others but that inevitably led back to understanding me. As I learned I took pieces from here and there, as if I was creating the ingredients for my truth. Remembering as I am here to do. There than came a time when I needed to implement what I’d been learning and the Universe gave me sit...uations to do so. I was ready to expand in All I Am and I created situations to expand in this experience. Honesty, I’m great at delving into books and such but when it comes to using them for me, well I was a little stubborn. Haha. Change can be challenging, intimidating, fearful if we allow it. However, it can also be wonderful, expansive, breathtaking, and fun. We get to choose. I ask you, what are you choosing today? Are you ready to bask in All That You Are no matter how that looks? Three days in a row now I’m brought to Mama Pacifico. She invites me to embrace joy. I am witnessing the clearing out of my direct opening to joy. The thing is joy doesn’t necessarily shout, it doesn’t have to be big only a gentle feeling from within. Words can not truly describe the calmness and openness of this emotion. A cat appears playing with a feather. Cats symbolize courage in the dark, rebirth and resurrection. The feather invites flight with it. Then I’m shown a la...dy trying to hold the cat and conquer it in a sense. Perhaps thinking she’ll save it but it doesn’t need to be saved. It had a collar and bell. It has a home and doesn’t need to be caught per say. The woman showed me - am I chasing or allowing? Don’t force anything. And really I and you are home no matter where that is. For it is not a place or a person it is from within. There are so many pieces of today. So many messages have shown up on my path. And here I find myself with Mama Pacifico once again. As I walk to the water’s edge I’m reminded that we have to walk towards what we want and sometimes that’s just allowing or being open, trusting. How can something arrive if we are standing along the wall and not participating in this life? Your life, my life. We are being invited into a new dance and with it comes courage to look at ourselves in a deeper manner with love. Mama Pacifico offers me and you this gentleness. I am grateful for the ease of this teaching. I came to the beach to teach today but I got the biggest teachings. We are all like the lotus, traveling through resistance at some point and opening our own hearts and lives in our own way, at our own pace. I’ve taken many many classes, worked with many teachers, read a ton of books and watched many videos about understanding me, this life, my gifts and I think one key is how to implement all these beautiful shares of wisdom into my own life on a continual basis. We can understand a concept or feel how the clarity permeates are core but ut...ilizing them beyond the class or book or call is truly up to us and where one can fall short. For this really asks us to value ourselves and make effort for our journey, that inner drive we feel. Take one step at a time. Progress isn’t an overnight thing. (Trust me I know). We are born into this world with everything we need. Self awareness, self love, self value and importance, self joy, inner peace, confidence, courage. Then life perhaps starts showing us something different. Life pushes at these tools we have trying to mold them in a different way. Expanding or limiting them. And somewhere we get lost. Caught up in reacting, caught in trying to control to be loved, be valued, find peace and courage. Caught in a cycle of seeking outside of ou...rselves for what already lays within. Perhaps all the cycles and patterns that are keeping you from truly standing in All That You Are are weighing so heavy not to torment you more but to guide you to something new. We are strong warriors but we don’t need weapons. We perhaps instead can readjust so we stand in our true authority power in this life. You are invited to do this. Everyday you are invited to do this. I hope that when you get the call, that inner nudge saying what else is there, is this it, or the realizing of your unhappiness that you pause and then perhaps follow the curiosity of your questions. It makes perfect sense why I was drawn to yoga since my life experiences have been to open to All I Am. For if we allow, each posture invites us to walk the path within. Discovering what our body, mind, Spirit is showing us and we can allow each part of us to be heard so we may adjust or move through or partner with whatever comes up. We start doing this with the breath. We can open ourselves up with our breath and this can be done on and off the mat. ... The breath is such a magical thing. It's automatic, it cleanses us, steadies us, brings us back to the present. Have you ever been in a situation where you just automatically sigh? A cleansing response from your subconscious. When I reflect, I see how I used to sigh all the time and had no idea why. In hindsight it was my releasing energy, emotions, that were building up and bringing me back to the moment. There are many tools to utilize to help you go within. These tools enable us to release what's in the way from our own expansion. Follow where you are guided and be open to what you are being shown. In the northern hemisphere the winter solstice marked the beginning of the days getting longer. Gradually you will see more brightness and clarity as you move through each day, each moment, each breath. You’ve weathered quite a storm of 2020 and now you’ll be shown how all the uprooting, uncertainty, fears and worries have readjusted your life so you have more ease and flow. It hasn’t been easy and it may still be rough but you’re getting through. You’ve figured out how to... get to the here and now even if you feel ragged. You are the hero of your own journey. It is not easy to make changes alone. Sometimes we need someone to hold us, guide us, who understands us. If I could travel backwards what would I tell myself while in the womb? Would I want to change anything? Put the coordinates in so I don’t have to experience all the pain and turmoil, all the fears and doubts? I think what stands out is not eliminating my experiences but to deeply comprehend why they are occurring, while they are occurring. Why this person or that person is in my story? Why I felt this why or that way? Why I created what I did? ... For, yes, I understand so much more now and I know I have had the experiences to get me to this place. The place of opening, clarity, peace and love. This place of empowerment, of wonder and limitless. This place to know the physical and non. This place to know me. To be at a point of self acceptance free of judgment. To be at this place to be in sacred heart service. To be present and share my abilities, what I know, what flows through me, with others. To be fully me with no regrets, no fears, no worries. So perhaps I would tell myself, remember why I came, remember the gifts I have brought forth, remember the souls that are here with me. We are taught to be accepted by society so life can perhaps be a little bit easier or we think life will be easier. If we are accepted maybe we won’t be judged or ridiculed or alienated. Thus the acceptance we seek may come through how we look or what label we wear or how much money we accumulate or not speaking our truth or hiding our fullness. But there is an inner voice that says this doesn’t feel good. Can you hear it? Conforming to someone else or to a box to be acc...epted by someone or something doesn’t feel good. And maybe you don’t feel this right away but eventually it’ll catch up to you. It is then you become less satisfied, things bug you, you’re triggered more easily. Why? Because there’s a part of you that says this isn’t my truth and I am not happy. Perhaps maybe you even get the question of what else is there? This is why I feel and have been shown time and time again that it’s really important to find or discover our own self acceptance, our own truth. You’re here for something. You’re here to experience for you and in that you receive all that you need to have for those experiences that you chose to have while you’re here on this earth. Run Susan run I want to shout to her. Run to your true self and love her, honor her, appreciate her, nurture her, rejoice her, listen to her and see her for all she is. But that’s not what I did. Instead I... Ran from all I felt Ran from my voice Ran from my self value Ran from deep self love I Ran For me running looked like an internal sponge. Everything I felt, knew, could see more than others, everything I didn’t understand went inward. It took me into my 40’s to acknowledge that sponge and start nurturing it. The sponge is me, my heart, my inwardness. I’m still a work in progress. There is always something new or deeper to understand here. But no matter when you begin, the path is always there to discover. The path within you. This vibrant path filled with so much wonder and joy. This path that submerges deeper then your appearance, the path of your truth. It may be challenging at times to venture within however from what you gain it is worth it.
