Message from Superintendent/Principal Audra Evans

Happy first day of school! The teachers and staff cannot wait to see everyone! Mrs. Evans created a display case in our hallway with pictures of what we have all done this summer. We know it might have looked a lot different this year, but we’d still love for you all to add to it. Please send your student with a picture to school or add a photo to this post of what your summer looked like and we will add it to our display case. Thank you! Remember to please be flexible and... patient with us all as we navigate through these not so ideal times. Stay tuned for a picture of our display case and let’s make today a great day!

SVJUSD Parents - There will be no Open House/Meet and Greet this year so Enrollment Packets will be sent home on the first day of school with students or, if yo...u prefer, you can pick up your enrollment packet at the school prior to the first day of school. SVJUSD Parents we are having "Work Evening" to finish getting our playground ready for the new school year. We will meet on Saturday, August 15th at 6pm to wor...k on finishing the edging and a sprinkler line, moving mats, and then filling with wood chips. We would appreciated volunteers. Updated information for re-opening from Superintendent/Principal Audra Evans

FREE sports physicals for Surprise Valley students will be available at the Surprise Valley Medical Clinic on August 24th-27th from 3:30-5:00 pm. You can schedule an appointment or just walk in. Please bring your completed Physician’s Statement & Parent’s Consent Form to your appointment. You can pick this form up from the school or some will be available at the clinic. We understand that sports are not being offered right now, but want to be sure that all sports physicals... and packets are complete so our young athletes can participate in sports as soon as the restrictions are lifted. Surprise Valley High School, the Evergreen League and NSCIF are working to provide sports for our student athletes as soon as possible. Thank you to our local clinic for working with us to offer this opportunity for FREE physicals, we really appreciate their support!
