Thank you to our partners @scoutingzone and @nextpro.soccer, who worked tirelessly to move Surf Cup 2020 college recruiting virtual! While you didn't see the sidelines packed, recruiting was certainly taking place, here's the recap by the numbers...: 330+ registered scouts 75+ scouts were recruiting live at the event 328 scouted matches 151 starred players 300+ scouts will be using ScoutingZone to virtually recruit from Surf Cup video in the coming week!

2020 Surf Cup Tournament Moves To New Location & Dates! After months of constant planning, and one postponement after another, we can no longer deny our kids the competition and college exposure they so desperately need. As an organization, we’ve tried everything to get the State of California to reopen competitive youth sports and to date, nothing has worked. Rather than continuing to plan in futility, we’ve spent the past few days talking with College Coaches and some of t...he best clubs in the country and the message we received was clear it’s time for Surf Cup!!! That said, we’re proud to announce the San Diego Surf Cup is relocating for one year. We are excited to announce Surf Cup Phoenix. Our players and coaches need dates to look forward to and a quality event from a brand they can count on, so we called our friends in Arizona and they rolled out the red carpet. We finally have dates and venues secured in a state that has already Returned to Play! Come join us as some of the top clubs in the country gather once again to compete to be the The Best of the Best but this time..we’re in the desert! Unfortunately, this means we’re canceling our upcoming events in San Diego due to the California restrictions on gameplay. We will be ready to go the moment we can get back on the fields so for now, Manchester City Cup, Summer Surf Cup & Surf College Cup will be back in 2021. The demand for this event is already extremely high with limited space available, we encourage you to apply immediately. Applications can no longer be rolled over from prior events.
