The 37th Annual Sunshine Freestyle Surfabout can only happen this year with your help. We need to raise the funds by the end of April to have enough time to get it organized. If we fall short and can't have the event all donations will be returned. Please share this and rally your friends and family to donate so we can keep this local community event going.

Well, The response so far to do the bear hahahaa LION logo once more has been overwhelming. Yep, it’s going to happen !!! I’ll be putting an order sheet together soon and make it a PDF printable one then you will just have to fill it out and email it back to me. Has this happened to any of you? Or is this happening to you now? The reason I say this is because it happened to me. Being an Executive Chef, making good money, and working my ass off in the restaurant industry for 20 years, I realized that I wanted a life, a wife, and a family. In the restaurant industry that I was working, that could not easily occur.... So I quit. That’s when Sunshine Freestyle came into my life. Sunshine was also in it’s last days and was scheduled to close at the end of March 1998. So , Robert and I formed the idea to keep Sunshine alive. As of April 1st 1998 Sunshine was again reborn and we have held the doors open for another 20 years. So...who’s going to pick up the torch this time and bring Sunshine back to life? A Phoenix needs to burn down before it can be reborn... Be the reviving spirit. See more
