We have a cold winter, more restrictions and holiday stress ahead, but we also have the joys of connecting in community, releasing stress through breath, moving our bodies mindfully and finding that inner calm. If it's been awhile or you've told yourself vitual yoga is not for me, I invite you to check in again. It takes a little adjusting (reach out if you need some tips), but I've found I am able to drop in deep to my yoga practice and truly feel the connection and energy of everyone in the zoom room with me. I also have to say that our Sukha teachers are kick-ass and have up-leveled their wisdom and inspiration in ways I can not even begin to express (Covid is giving us all the opportuntiy to dive deeper into our self-care and spiritual path if we are open to the lessons and the silver linings). We are feeling nostalgic looking at this photo from our 2019 Thanksgiving yoga class. The energy, love and connection of everyone practicing together is palpable. 2020, has certainly taught us that we as humans, are highly adapatable and we have found creative ways to nourish and support one another. We hope you join us this year (via zoom) so we can continue the tradition. As Ali says, "We can practice meeting the reality of the bodies, communities and world we live in with open eyes, strong hearts, and willing hands."
