Sugarloaf Ridge State Park 14.01.2021

When the world seems too much, watching clouds sift through forest can bring us back to Earth. This view from our Meadow Trail head gave our visitors and staff a bit of peace on a day when it was very much needed.

Fire adapted plants of all sorts are shooting up at Sugarloaf and iNaturalist users like "dogperson" are helping Sonoma Ecology Center discover and document them. Sugarloaf Ridge State Park campgrounds are closed until January 9, 2021 due to the Sonoma County shelter in place order. The Visitor Center, and some trails Canyon, Creekside Nature, Meadow and Hillside remain open to the public. All other parts of the park remain closed due to the impacts of the Glass Fire. Los terrenos para acampar en el Parque Estatal Sugarloaf Ridge están cerrados hasta el 9 de enero del 2021 de acuerdo con la orden de permanecer en casa del Condado de Sonoma.
