Most people think that happiness is created or taken away by circumstances. When we get what we desire we are happy. Likewise, when we can avoid things that cause pain or discomfort, we remain happyfor a time. The human operating system of desire and aversion is fickle at best. It relies on outward, physical circumstances being just the way we want them to be.... I want to suggest another way...there is a superior way. True Happiness is be dependent on inner Light The Light of Reality that is endless and infinite. If you learn to make yourself available to Light, you will be happy. The more available you are to Light, the happier you are. And...the more you're able to focus your mind during meditation, the more easily you can learn to tap into your own inner Light. We all have this ability, we just need to learn how...with practice. It is possible and the experience is profound! Consistent happiness is available to everyone... all of us.

It’s been a couple weeks of "difficult" ... Actually, it’s been at least 10 months of difficult. 2020 was an absolute roller coaster of a year for many. For many... Tensions are high. Spirits are low. But for some? We continued to thrive in 2020. ...And we're already off to a great start in 2021. I don’t say this to brag.Honestly. This is because I block out all of the distractions and stay focused on what matters. Love... for myself, my family, humanity, all sentient beings and even my business. The students and I have intentionally cut out anything and everything that didn’t directly result in positivity and well-being. We spent the last couple months reading and discussing "The Mastery of Love", by Don Miguel Ruiz. We learned so much! I highly recommend it.
