Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with a new online exhibition, Across Borders: A Look at the Work of Latinx Designers. A collaboration between Jessica Arana and Julio Martinez, both active members of AIGA’s Diversity & Inclusion task force. http://www.aiga.org/across-borders-latinx-design-exhibition Latinx designers work across a wide range of boundariesfrom cultural differences, to language barriers, to geographical constraints. The collection highlights these challenging ...juxtapositions and complexities, which often result in unique perspectives that are applied to design challenges. Whether it’s designing highly influential book covers, developing title sequences for legendary films, or creating bold illustrations that elicit political discourse, designers with Latin American roots have made indelible contributions to the field of communication design. We’re proud to present and share this collection. See more
