It is so important to be healthy and fit for life. To create a lifestyle that prevents illnesses and injuries. So you can live a good quality life and be of service to others A lot of the times we create our own suffering because we refuse to take ownership for our health which is the greatest wealth around. Changing your lifestyle is not easy, seek help and get the support you need and work it like your life depends on it because it literally does. You can change. It's not impossible, Uncomfortable? Yes. Impossible? No. Extremely rewarding. Coach Deb

It is better to prevent than to cure. Prevention is hard but to cure is harder. You choose. Coach Deb

You are responsible for your health. Your health is in your hands. You may not be able to control everything but you can control a lot of things. Things you can control and work towards improving:... 1. What you eat and how much you eat. 2. Your cardio time. 3. Your weight training time. 4. Your sleep. 5. Your mental health. 6. How hydrated you are. 7 How you manage your time. 8. How you manage stress. 9. How often you go to the doctors for check ups. 10. Taking your vitamins 11. Your level of activity There is a lot you can choose to improve. You are not helpless you just need to choose better for yourself. Coach Deb See more

2020 has shown me a lot about ME. How I cope, how I perceive a few things, how edgy or emotional I can be without thought, how I can rise up and preserve. Who I am when crisis appears. Honestly, that is who I need to focus on ME as far as be responsible for. I am responsible to everyone else by how I react or respond. I would have to say I have chosen poorly and have chosen wisely. Always a work in progress and progress comes in pieces. I am grateful for the awareness and the choice to grow. My studio is a safe, no shame, and no judgement place were you can be YOU and workout all those kinks. Where you build a stronger better you. Coach Deb

Change the script and reframe your relationship with the scale.......... The scale can be an enemy when it comes to body image and fat loss. if we allow ourselves to give it the power to define us instead of allowing to bring awareness. our actions or lack there of play a role but what actions are we choosing that effect the scale? 1. sleep 2. nutrition... 3. hydration 4. stress 5. hormones 6. medications 7. digestive system these things can slow us down when it comes to fat loss. we retain more water weight when we lack sleep, eat too much sugar or salt, and are dehydrated. we can gain weight if we are not in a caloric deficit. Hormones can communicate to our body to hang on to the weight. Some medications have weight gain side effects. make sure you do a check in before you fall a part and give that scale your self worth and identity. There is more to this scale than meets the eye. Work on your relationship with it. It's meant to be a check in with self tool, and get some support tool not a shameful, condemning, and belittling tool. Change the script and reframe it. It's the turtle not the rabbit that wins the race of fat loss. Along the way habits and mindsets change, intentionally planning out your workouts and nutrition are needed. This all takes consistency and patience a mindset that views this as a journey and a lifestyle change. Don't fall for the quick fixes, it only keeps the cycle of defeat alive. Lose, gain, lose and then gain again. Stop the insanity!! Coach Deb

You may be feeling overwhelmed by how far you have to go. Frustrated because you have slipped so far off track. You're constantly beating yourself up and disippointed on how you have let yourself go and beginning seems to be the hardest first step. But I am here to tell you: ... "YOU CAN DO IT, ONE SMALL STEP AT A TIME!" Progress comes in pieces. An intentional daily routine of small healthy choices over a period of time with patience and consistency creates big change. Soon the hard stuff will be easy. Keep choosing the small steps of change. Coach Deb

One of my amazing clients said something so profound and wise today, I had to write it down and share. She said this as we were talking about habits and creating a new healthier routine. "Practice doesn't make perfect it makes permanent" Boom Thats it!! Take out the pressure of perfect and focus on permanent. May this motivate you and encourage you to commit to not quit.... Thank you Erin! Coach Deb
