Happy New Year from Stockton Unified!! What are you looking forward to in 2021? #Proud2bSUSD
We can all take action to help students, teachers, and administrators return safely to school. Help slow the spread of COVID-19 by postposing all in-person gatherings, including celebrations, with people who are not part of your household.

Planning for New Year’s? As the number of COVID-19 cases continues to rise, the safest choices are to stay home and celebrate with the people you live with, or ...virtually with loved ones elsewhere. Reach out to family, friends, and neighbors: Call, text, or leave a voicemail wishing others a Happy New Year. Call friends and family to count down to the new year together. There are no words to describe the great work of Dr. Baker-Lopez. Through this pandemic, she has worked endlessly to make sure the social-emotional well being of students and parents are being met. She has organized a Lunch Bunch on Google Classroom to give students the opportunity to talk about their feelings during COVID and a safe place to talk and socialize. She has accepted the challenge of conducting home visits where she takes prizes, curriculum, library books, and many other materials that meet our students' needs here at PYA. Most importantly, she is a kind and caring person who practices teaching the "whole child." As a counselor, Dr. Baker-Lopez goes above and beyond the call of duty. Thank you! -Dr. Simone Martinez, Principal Primary Years Academy Stockton Unified

Principal Nakamura joined the Stagg Admin Team in the middle of the pandemic, and instantly everyone was able to see his true colors as a #powerful and inspiring leader. His upbeat energy is contagious, and his genuine desire to connect with his staff, students, and families is palpable. Principal Nakamura treats everyone equitably and is always willing to go above and beyond to ensure people feel empowered, respected, and understood. He leads by example with kindness, and the countless hours spent putting in all that hard work is seen by us all. STAGG PRIDE INSIDE! -Stagg A Team
