Congratulations to Ms. Shipley Walters, who received the Historic Preservation Medal from the Daughters of the American Revolution on Tuesday, November 3rd. Shipley has lead monumental progress in the preservation of Yolo County’s history throughout the past 50 years. We are so grateful for her longstanding commitment to the county and to the Episcopal Church of St Martin. One of the things we all know is an issue for our community, and especially for those with lower incomes, is affordable housing. Here's a way to get involved and be part of the solution. The City of Davis is hosting a Housing Element Update Workshop on Thursday November 12 from 5:30 to 7:30 PM via Zoom. This discussion will cover a variety of housing-related plans including affordable housing for low income and homeless individuals. To join the workshop and offer your input, please visit www.bit.ly/DavisHousingNeeds.You can RSVP ahead of time at www.housingneeds.eventbrite.com.

What a beautiful offering from our community to our community! This weekend we had several neighbors stop by and read names and add to the ofrendaone family even went from the ofrenda to the labyrinth for a walk. Thanks to all our saints who made this possible.
For those in need during this time, this prayer hotline is open. As Presiding Bishop Curry said, "Jesus teaches us to come before God with humble hearts, boldly offering our thanksgivings and concerns to God or simply listening for God’s voice in our lives and in the world. Whether in thought, word or deed, individually or corporately, when we pray we invite and dwell in God’s loving presence. We are grateful to our friends Virginia Theological Seminary and The General Theological Seminary who have provided this hotline, open to all those in need of prayer during the coming days." https://www.facebook.com//a.887027294746/3393317790783896/

How do we achieve a more perfect union during this time of national upheaval--regardless of what happens on November 3? Our rector was one of the faith leaders in our community who signed onto this "Statement on the 2020 Election." You can read the whole text of the statement on our website by clicking below. Some takeaways: ... Be kind. Be strong. Stay together. We can do hard things. See more
