OCTOBER MISSION OF THE MONTH COMMUNITY RESOURCE CENTER FOOD DRIVE TODAY IS THE LAST DAY TO BRING FOOD ITEMS!... St. Mark Lutheran Church members, friends, and Preschool families have all come together to help the local Community Resource Center feed people who are struggling during these difficult times. Your generosity has been incredible. We are in the final week of this mission. TODAY is the last day to donate food including cans of soup, beans, chicken or tuna, and packages of oatmeal or beans. PASTOR APPRECIATION MONTH October is Pastor Appreciation Month, and we have so much to appreciate with Pastor Joel! In addition to his many talents and dedication to St. Mark’s members, he has strived successfully to keep us all connected during the pandemic. With help from others, Pastor Joel engineered our live streaming. Before that, we were able to worship with Drive-Thru Church on Sunday mornings when everything was shut down. For those who were unable to participate ...in these opportunities, he made many personal phone calls to check on his flock. Group Bible Studies, Children’s Church, and even VBS took place in spite of all the COVID restrictions. The Prayer Garden was utilized with encouragement to write personal prayers and pray for our nation and the world. The list goes on and on describing his never-ending list of accomplishments during tough times. We are blessed indeed with a truly marvelous pastor, shepherd, and a joy-filled Christian example in Joel Beyer.

"Spooktacular" displays were created by Pastor Joel and Dave & Anne Kendall for the Preschool Fall Celebration! This morning, the children were greeted with a friendly "Jesus loves you" and received delicious treats!

"CRY ROOMS" NOW AVAILABLE! In order to accommodate families with young children attending our Sunday morning, 10 am In-Person Service, we’re going to be opening a number of cry rooms in the building upstairs. These rooms can be reserved ahead of the service and will include seating, a changing table, and other baby supplies, as well as a link to view the Livestream on a smart device. NOVEMBER & DECEMBER MISSION OF THE MONTH OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD Operation Christmas Child is an organization that works with local churches around the world to share Christ with children and families. This year, St. Mark Lutheran Church is participating with Operation Christmas Child in two ways. The first way is to fill shoeboxes with gifts to send to these children.... "KIDS ON THE MARK" SUNDAY SCHOOL Sunday Mornings | 9:00 am Contact Pastor Joel Beyer at [email protected] or 760.390.4881 Children in grades Preschool-5th are invited to attend in-person Sunday School classes every Sunday at 9:00 am. These classes are held outside, and the children will remain socially distant, while still giving them the opportunity to connect and learn about their Savior!

Worship Update for Sunday! Children's Sunday School | 9:00 am In-Person Worship Service & Livestream | 10:00 am Drive-Thru Communion | 11:00 am... We are looking forward to worshipping together again this morning. We will be utilizing the same social distancing guidelines we used including assigned seats, health checks, face coverings, and a shortened service. Young children are invited to participate in Sunday School at 9:00 am outside. We will also continue to offer In-Person and Livestream options at 10:00 am and Drive-Thru Communion following the service from 11:00 am to 11:30 am for those not ready to attend in-person.
