Thank you for masking, washing your hands, isolating, testing, getting a flu shot, and making choices every day that keep you and your loved ones protected from COVID-19. Your selfless acts will make a big difference in our ability to continue to take care of those who need our compassionate care. Thank you for caring! Please share!
Each winter, people sick with flu crowd hospitals and urgent care clinics. Anyone can get the flu, even healthy people. Serious problems from the flu can happen at any age. The flu shot is a safe, effective way to reduce your chance of ending up in the hospital with severe flu. Help keep hospital beds open for COVID-19 patients by getting your flu shot at no cost tomorrow at the County Fairgrounds or another location: www.sccphd.org/flu
Bringing holiday cheer to the dedicated care team at St. Louise Regional Hospital Very special thanks to Glenda Garcia and Mary Beth Anderson for their time and talent to assist with the creation of this beautiful COVID-19 safe space at SLRH. Glenda, a member of the Board of the VMC Foundation and Mary Beth, also a very active long term advocate for SLRH, worked with members of the VMC Foundation to prepare this very special audiovisual experience for our patients, visitors, and staff.
Please share this information about a wonderful scholarship opportunity for students living in South Santa Clara County or San Benito County. Thank you!

BREAKING: The number of Santa Clara County residents contracting COVID-19 and the number of patients hospitalized with COVID-19 continues to rise significantly, reaching record levels. As of today, there were 760 new cases of COVID-19 and 239 COVID-related hospitalizations, 71 of whom are in the ICU. Both the number of new cases and COVID-related hospitalizations set new records for the highest single-day counts since the outset of the pandemic. To reduce the likelihood of a surge in hospitalizations that would exceed the capacity of hospitals in the county, the Health Officer is announcing several changes to the Mandatory Directives that accompany the Public Health Officer’s Risk Reduction Order. Read about the changes here: https://www.sccgov.org//press-release-11-28-2020-public-he. Please share!
