Catholic School's Week is a wonderful time to "walk" our faith. This year our students served our community, celebrated with their families, and prayed together in a beautiful enactment of the Rosary. Thank you to everyone who helped plan events to make the 2017-2018 Catholic School's Week a success.

Icing on the cake...according to our latest test scores, St. Gertrude the Great students are 44% more proficient in ELA & 32% more proficient in Math than the students at the local public/charter schools (Montebello Unified School District). This may not surprise you HOWEVER, what may surprise you is our students are ALSO 19.2% more proficient in ELA & 6.1% more proficient in Math than the students who attend public/charter schools in Downey Unified School District. We're more proficient in ELA & Math than El Rancho & LAUSD too. Come check out St. Gertrude the Great, we are the best kept secret in Montebello, Downey, Whitter, South Gate, Huntington Park & beyond.
