I have a feeling this tree may no longer exist. We had been driving around the new housing development when I noticed this tree's side of the road was beginning to have lots carved out. Where I thought this tree should have been, was cleared. Maybe I was disoriented and looked in the wrong spot. Either way, I knew progress was coming. A couple of summers ago, there were a quite a few weekends spent exploring and doing camera things around the Carson Pass area.
