Nice catching up with my friend Joe Amlani with Amlani Insurance Agency on all sorts of topics. A couple of nuggets that Joe shared with me from his line of work: 1. Make sure your home insurance is updated to reflect current costs to rebuild a home. As we all know building materials and labor costs have increased significantly the last couple years. 2. Life insurance. Make sure you learn about your options and take action on this. No one likes to think about this topic but Joe shared a couple of recent examples in his business where life insurance became a blessing during a very difficult time and another example where lack of life insurance added an overwhelming burden onto a devastating heartbreak.
