Something new is on the horizon for Steltronic automatic scoring systems, the Video Matrix Extender (VME) is arriving soon. The new and upcoming Video Matrix Extender (VME) has the ability to drive up to 4 HDMI flat screen monitors up to 300 feet away. Steltronic Video Matrix Extender When you have flat screen HDMI monitors very far away from the Steltronic Vision Lane Computer (VLC), you have a situation where the HDMI signal out of the VLC needs to be sent over long distances to the flat screen monitors up front. Something new on the horizon for Steltronic scoring systems. When you have monitors very far away from the lane computer, whether they are overhead monitors or lower touch screen monitors, Steltronic is going to provide a new "Video Matrix Extender" hardware box that has two HDMI inputs (for the odd and even lanes), and then all of the hardware inside will convert this HDMI signal into CAT6 for ease of installation to install CAT6 cables trough the ceiling and/or underground to the touch screens in the bowlers area.
