Steel Guitars of North County

Awhile ago a few of us used to get together at my steel guitar shop for the simple purpose of playing music that we liked. Jeanine Leder(vocals and acoustic guitar) moved to Nashville then Ohio and married a terrific guy Dave Ridenour, Bruce Tucker(bass) died from Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis, Dennis Roberts(vocals. electric and acoustic guitar) got busy with his Vintage Timberworks business in Temecula and me(pedal steel and occ. vocals) continued my love of the steel gui...tar business. Fast forward to today- we all were yearning to do it again so we chose GarageBand as a medium and swap files remotely and Dave Ridenour is a great musician and singer so is now helping us out as well. Not just anybody can work at Steel Guitars of North County- there are some requirements 1- You gotta show up 2- You need a shirt 3-You gotta be beautiful 4- You gotta show some skin... I'm thinkin I qualify :) (of course the presence of Katie Skene, Chaska Potter, and Andrea Whitt doesn't hurt any)

I'm a sucker for memorabilia and love Gram Parsons and have this poster signed by one of my heroes Sneaky Pete in the shop on the wall. Today a guy came in browsing and left but not before giving me the key in the left upper corner- to THE ROOM and THE MOTEL in Joshua Tree- HOLY SMOKES!!!!!!

Had a nice visit w Geri Isaacs in Yuma. She is a marvelous gal and was Bud's better half :) .
