Whether it is the simple drawing of a line, a play of texture or a dialogue between the full and the empty, the work of art suggests a sensory experience. Video: Douglas Allen is the subject in our fifth edition of Artist Corner. Doug works in a variety of mediums consistently using a psychedelic pallet and has a deep love for smokeys (big rig trucks). @womxninwindows comes to Chung King Road! Womxn In Windows is an annual exhibition that showcases the perspective of womxn filmmakers. The themes center around identity, culture, and society. This wonderful project opens today and we have the pleasure of having @everlane.moraes video Aurora on display in the Tierra del Sol Gallery window! Helen Rae didn’t start making art until 1990 when she joined Tierra del Sol studio arts program. This is an early self portrait she made of her reflection in a mirror on an easel and the surrounding studio objects.
