This same nursing home, Cypress Ridge Care Center (formerly Monterey Pines Skilled Nursing Facility) in Monterey, was the subject of a prior lawsuit brought by Stebner & Associates and Needham Kepner & Fish LLP in 2012 in which the plaintiff, an 88 year-old woman recovering from a stroke, alleged she was sexually molested at the facility and, as a result, contracted an incurable sexually transmitted disease.
