Listening to the Los Angeles Board of Supervisors meeting this afternoon while working on this boo boo. They are saying that Los Angeles County will start admin...istering covid-19 vaccines as early as next week. The first ones to get immunized will be First Responders and Healthcare workers. Then facilities like nursing homes etc etc. The general public will probably not see a vaccine until sometime in January and may not even have enough for all until sometime in May of 2021. I myself am gonna wait it out cuz who knows if it will even be successful. See more

I have my first encounter with an Esteban guitar today. It came in as a mess somebody had tried to replace the nut and was never cut correctly the neck was twisted and had a horrible bow in it and the thing was just barely playable. At first it look like I was just going to be polishing a turd. But with a little tender loving care and 3 hours of massaging it , turned out to be an okay playing guitar. Regardless I don't think I would ever recommend this guitar especially to a beginner.

A client just dropped this off for repair. I guess his cat knocked it over. #DamnThatHurts

A New addition to the studio It's a beautiful instrument all I had to do was pay to have it moved. It does have a couple of small issues but I can fix that in f...act I still have all of my supplies when I used to have my piano shop in Seattle. And she's only about ten cents flat which is extremely good news. Another interesting fact is is that this is a Schmoller & Mueller which was one of the very first US Manufactured Mail Order Pianos Built a little after the turn of the century. Did you know that the United States once had over 1000 piano manufactures across the country. One of the reasons for this is because they were not easy to ship and so they were manufactured locally. The depression killed most of the family run piano manufactures which were bought out by the larger companies like Baldwin, Aeolian,Chickening, and Wurlitzer to name a few.
