We are thrilled to add a new frame company to our collection. We are now the only place in the Central Valley and one of only a handful of offices on the West Coast to offer Coco Song and La Matta Eyewear. I was privileged to spend an hour with the school nurses for the Modesto City Schools talking to them about eyecare and eye screenings. I always walk away from these visits impressed with their knowledge, professionalism and concern for their students. Our meeting was so productive, I'm going back next month for more. Busy few weeks for Dr. Miedema. First a specialty conference in Sacramento getting the latest updates in retinal care. Then to Las Vegas for Vision Expo West for classes on the latest care for ocular inflammation. Also may have found an exciting new frame line for the office - look for more info later. Then to a general education meeting with updates on specialty contacts and macular degeneration. This week off to a conference sponsored by VSP to learn more on how to help patients get the most from their vision insurance. Always trying to stay current.
