Ash Wednesday is the commencement of Lent, a season of reflection and preparation before the celebrations of Easter. Today during military time, cadets received uniform inspections and were taught how to tie their boots properly. Many of the older cadets assisted the junior cadets who needed help. As part of SCA’s rich military tradition, cadets are expected to wear their uniform with pride and maintain a sharp military appearance and posture.
