Meet Julian Manly Earls! Mr. Earls spent decades working at #NASA and was the first African American in many roles including the being the first black section head at NASA, the first black office chief and the first black division chief, Earls was the deputy director and wrote NASA’s first health #physics guides. Meet #STEM figure Kimberly Bryant! An #Electrical #Engineer and Founder of Black Girls Code. Byrant started Black Girls Code, a non-profit organization that focuses on providing technology education for African-American girls, which was inspired by #underrepresentation of people of color in the field. She was especially #inspired by her daughter who noticed that boys outnumbered the girls at a #programming camp.

During our summer #SacYourthWorks #internship, we got the amazing opportunity to work with some of our past #scholars. We were so excited to work with them again! We are SO excited to be doing another #SacYouthWorks internship during the fall!

@DataConLA, the largest data conference in Southern California, is bringing together data and technology enthusiasts from October 23 - 25. They'll be featuring 98 speakers across six different tracks addressing various topics related to data.
