Congratulations to Esmeraldo Nitollama, our Employee of the Month for January! Being a dedicated employee for over 9 years, Esmeraldo sets an example in his reliability and in the positive attitude he displays. A cooperative and pleasant person to work with, he continues to be a great asset to our Assembly/2nd-ops department. Jai Moua has been voted as our Employee of the Month for December! Jai has been with the company since 2013. With his various skills, he works as a molding machine operator in Production and also performs 2nd-op machining operations in the Tool Room. Jai is liked by everyone and sets a strong example in the well-communicated, detailed and efficient work that he does. Congratulations Jai! Our runner-up employees for this month are: Vang Vue from Quality, Josh Roblez from the Tool Room, Emilio Bautista from Production, Julia Lugo from the Office, and Esmeraldo Nitollama from Assembly/2nd-Ops. As the number of COVID-19 cases continues to increase in the United States, the number of critical care patients will also continue to rise, putting stress on the capacity of many hospitals in our area. Most of us have heard from the news that respiratory care ventilators are in high demand. This demand for ventilators and their supportive equipment will likely become extreme before the crisis in our country has been overcome. Springboard Manufacturing is in the fight again...st this crisis. Thanks to our dedicated staff, we have been running full production to produce critical components for one of the COVID-19 test kits. Regarding the ventilator situation, we have volunteered our resources to help one of the major health providers in our area, Dignity Heath. The tubing junction parts shown here will enable existing ventilator units to be expanded, allowing for several pulmonary patients to be treated by just a single machine. Although simple in design, these parts are in shortage and nearly impossible to obtain. We’ve collaborated with the Pulmonary lab at Mercy General Hospital to modify the existing design, allowing the parts to be produced by 3D Printing. The urgent production and use of these parts fall under FDA Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) guidelines. At the time of this writing we are running non-stop 3D print production. These critical parts will be donated by Springboard Manufacturing and will find their way to local hospital respiratory care units. We are helping in the fight. Special recognition for this ventilator project goes to Kyle Sherman and Glen Shrigley. Kyle has led the entire design and manufacturing effort from start to finish. Glen has been responsible for the project’s inception and management all the way through. Great job, gentlemen! And a sincere THANK YOU goes out to all of our dedicated employees!

MD&M-West is happening now in Anaheim California, February 11th-13th. This is said to be the world's largest medical design and manufacturing event. We have been attending for many years. Here is Glen and Kevin at the 2020 show!

Congratulations to Nathan Batoctoy, our Employee of the Month for November. Nathan worked for us part time through several summers. He then started working full time in the Assembly/2nd-Ops department in June of 2019. Nathan consistently comes into work with a great attitude and is a team player, always willing to help others when he can. He has quickly learned most of the assembly jobs and is conscious of providing quality product to our customers. An awesome job, Nathan! Justin Carpenter is our Employee of the Month for October! He started with us in 2011 and worked his way through school, earning a Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering at CSUS. Justin is a Quality Engineer in the Tool Room, working primarily in our DLA department. His contributions are significant and well noted. Great job Justin! Congratulations to Song Thao, our Employee of the Month for September! Song is in his 16th year of employment at the company. As an experienced Process Inspector, he has ensured our high quality standards through thousands of different products. Song is an extremely reliable employee in the Quality department and has recently expanded his skill set by becoming a CMM Operator. Congratulations Anjani Devi - our Employee of the Month for August! Anjani began her employment in 2017. A quick learner, she has become a prominent operator in our clean room department. Anjani is an excellent and reliable employee who has gone above and beyond with the training of new clean room operators, and by covering the responsibilities of her supervisors whenever necessary. Other popular descriptions for her are smart, dedicated, delightful, and someone always willing to help. We are fortunate to have her on the team! Our runner-ups for this month are: San Saechao from Quality, Terry Rheault from the Tool Room. Yoon Saelee from Production, Sam Yang from our Warehouse, and Ilene Gonzalez from Assembly/2nd-Ops. Congratulations to Her Xiong, for being voted in as our employee of the month for July. He has been with the company since 2012, first gaining experience on the production floor and now working in the QA Department. Her is known to be a very reliable worker and team player, always stepping in when needed. Employee of the Month, June 2019 We recognize Emilio Bautista as our Employee of the Month for June. Emilio started with us in 2017 as a Machine Operator. He has since worked his way up to being a Materials Handler. Don't let that smile on his face fool you - Emilio may be easy to work with, but he is also a very reliable, productive, and hard worker. Congratulations Emilio! I just wanted to share a couple of picture’s that we took today of the personnel on the Production floor that make a difference here everyday.
