We had some visitors stop by our office this morning... We counted 5 of them. Such beautiful birds!!

It's Assessment Time!!! Quarterly Assessments are Due. They were Due February 1, 2021 and are not late until after the 15th. Payments can be dropped off at out office or through the dropbox, located to the right of our double doors, in addition to being mailed.

Mobile military museum comes to Spring Valley Lake for Veterans Day!! In honor of America’s Veterans, a free Mobile Military Museum exhibit will be on public display in front of the Spring Valley Lake post office on Veterans’ Day, Wednesday, Nov. 11. The Mobile Military Museum display includes American military uniforms, field equipment, medals and other historical items from World War I, World War II, the Korean War and Vietnam. ... The exhibit includes a display dedicated to Air Force Capt. Joe McConnell, Jr. America’s all-time top-scoring jet ace from Apple Valley. It also includes the medals of Col. William Hamberg, a World War II commander who earned America’s second highest medal for valor for risking his life to rally his beleaguered troops and rout German troops in northern France. Also featured is Marine Corps Capt. Jack Holland, who earned the Distinguished Flying Cross for daring dive bomber attacks in Korea and whose faith led him to organize clothing drives for Korean orphans. Visitors will be invited to sign Christmas cards and write a personal message to residents of the Barstow Veterans Home. The free Mobile Military Museum exhibit will be on display 10 a.m. to noon, Wednesday, Nov. 11. For more information, call Don Holland at (760) 985-0653.
