We are technically not an essential service but we know that there are timelines for enrollment in health plans. Many if our Medicare plans are allowing us to take the application info via phone. We can then submit your application and they will contact you for verbal authorization. All CoveredCA plans can be enrolled by phone. Friends and Family of Sousa Insurance Services, we know you have been overloaded with information, helpful hints, and maybe even stocked up on your toilet paper and water, but please remember that the first steps to prevention start with these handwashing steps. Remember that if you have fever or symptoms of acute respiratory illness, please self quarantine, to protect others. If we all become vigilant in these steps to prevent spread, this too will... pass. We are sad for the loss of lives and recognize the economic strain this places on many. This week wraps up enrollment 2020. Friday, January 31st is the last day to enroll in a CoveredCA health plan. Remember that if you have a qualifying event such as marriage, birth or adoption of a child, or have a job change that affects your health benefits, you could qualify for a special enrollment period SEP!
